BNI Donegal’s new leadership to boost local economy

THE Stronghold Chapter of Business Networking Ireland (BNI) in Donegal has welcomed the appointment of a new leadership team.

David McEvoy of Dmac Media Ltd has assumed the position of Chapter Director while Kevin Martin and Emma Boylan will take leading roles as Membership Co-ordinator and Secretary Treasurer respectively.
 
The new leaders will ensure the Stronghold Chapter will continue to generate new business and boost the local economy through effective networking among its 25 members.

David McEvoy, Chapter Director has been a member of BNI since 2011 and has contributed hugely to the group over the past number of years.

The group has generated more than €1.4 million in the past twelve months and this is expected to grow further under the guidance of the new Leadership team.

The Stronghold Chapter supports more than 350 jobs locally and meet in St Patrick’s Parish Centre, Donegal each Thursday morning.

The group consists of local businesses and trades including a Dentist, Florist and Nutritionist. They also welcome new members and are currently looking for a range of professions to become part of their success, including – Plumber, Optician, Electrician and Graphic Designer  .
 
David McEvoy, Chapter Director said: “I am delighted to assume the position of chapter director look forward to working with all the members to continue to generate new business in the coming months.

“We are very proud Donegal business people and want to see the local economy thrive and we believe we as local businesses can have a huge part to play in this.

“Each of us want to create new jobs for Donegal and the best way of doing this is by working together which is what BNI is all about.
“We welcome any local business people who would like to come along to one of our meetings to find out more about BNI and how they can grow their business by becoming a member.”
