Rory is helping to ‘Battle’ depression with new song


Popular Donegal singer/songwriter Rory Gallagher has taken his experience of battling with depression and the help he found to overcome it as an inspiration for a new song which will raise awareness and much-needed funds for a charitable organisation that supported him.

THREE years in the making this eagerly awaited album features no less than 9 original songs among the 12 tracks. With five of the songs having definite Donegal stories to them along with a few Scottish themed songs, it has a real “Celtic Connection” and feel to it.

A LETTERKENNY man who was arrested following a stabbing incident outside Voodoo nightclub, Main Street on August 14 was remanded on continuing bail at yesterday, Thursday’s sitting of the Letterkenny District Court.
