Appeal for missing dog believed to be in St Johnston

A SOCIAL media campaign has been launched for a missing dog believed to be in the St Johnston area.
Murphy, the brown and white beagle, was in the vehicle which was involved in a collision on the Letterkenny Road in Derry on Tuesday morning and has been missing since.
He was last seen yesterday evening in the St Johnston area on the back-road up past the Fisherman’s Inn pub. It is believed he may be with a smaller Jack Russell dog.
Searches are currently being carried out in the area.
A ‘Bring Murphy Home’ Facebook page has been launched and people in the area are being urged to keep an eye out for the missing dog.
Anyone with an information is urged to contact the Facebook page ‘Bring Murphy Home’.
