Garda recruitment campaigns to take place around county

A NUMBER of garda recruitment events are taking place  around the county over the coming days.

An information evening will take place at Ballybofey Garda Station tomorrow evening between 6pm and 9pm.

An information stand will be at Donegal Shopping Centre (Supervalu), Glebe, Donegal Town tomorrow afternoon between 1pm and 3pm.

An information evening will take place at Buncrana Garda Station on Wednesday, February 19 between 7pm and 9pm.

A drop in event will take place at The Central Library, Oliver Plunkett Road, Letterkenny, (F92 R273) on Wednesday, February 19 between 3pm and 5pm.

An information stand will be held at Letterkenny Shopping Centre on Tuesday, February 25 between 1pm and 2.30pm.

A garda spokesperson said: “If you have an interest in joining An Garda Síochána, have any questions or would like to gain some insight into the many different ways that we serve the community, we would be delighted if you called to any of these events. Trainee Gardaí will be there to answer questions about the recruitment and training process and Community Policing Gardaí will be on hand to answer your questions also.”
