GARDAí in Letterkenny say they are interested in information relating to sightings of youths in the Slieve Sneacht Close area of Letterkenny following an incident of criminal damage at the weekend.
Entry was gained to the vehicle and the ignition of the car and the passenger side door were damaged in the incident, which occurred in the early hours of Saturday, December 3, between 5.30am and 5.45am.
A garda spokesperson said: “We are particularly interested in any sightings of a group of youths in the area around the time.
“We appeal to residents in that area to contact Gardaí if they observed any suspicious activity in the area or a group of youths around that time.”
Anyone in the area the time in question and who had dash cam is asked to make the footage available to gardai.
