Youths lit firework causing ‘substantial damage’ to property

SUBSTANTIAL damage was caused to the front fence of a house in Churchill after youths lit fireworks outside the property.

We are appealing for the assistance of the public in connection with an incident of criminal damage that occurred in the area of Keelogs shortly after 9.30pm on Friday, October 31.

A garda spokesperson said: “Youths are believed to have lit fireworks outside a house in that area and when they ignited they caused substantial damage to the front fence. If anybody observed a group of youths in the area or if anyone travelled in that area with a dash-cam between 8pm and 10pm on that date, we ask them to get in touch with Gardaí in Milford on (074) 9153060.”
