MIKE Denver, one of Galway’s favourite sons is riding the crest of a wave – and he’s coming to Donegal.
You can catch Mike on Thursday, February 5 at Jackson’s Hotel Ballybofey, where he will take to the stage along with his brilliant back up band.
Mike’s fan base is vast throughout Ireland, north and south, and he is now making inroads in the UK with some sellout concerts in England and Scotland over the past couple of years.
He started touring at the age of just 16 and released his first album in 2003 ‘Wings to Fly’. His most recent album, ‘The Travelin Soldier’, has also gone down a treat.
Tickets are already selling fast for his Jackson’s Hotel concert where the audience will be treated to a two and a half hour show, a high energy concert where he’ll play all his hits like ‘Tommy K’, ‘Galway Girl’, ‘Wasn’t that a Party’, ‘Blown Away’, hits from the 60’s and 70’s plus much more.
Mike will have three special guests on the night, the much loved Ray Lynam, Claudia Buckley and Jack Keogh.
Ray Lynam needs no introduction. He has been performing for over 60 years and still draws huge crowds wherever he plays.
Claudia Buckley, like Mike Denver, is another Galway native. The winner of ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ on three occasions, you can enjoy some of her hits including ‘Drinking with Dolly’ and ‘Dianne’
Jack Keogh from Wicklow, at just 21, is one of Ireland’s hottest country singers and is most renowned for his breakthrough song ‘Dreaming of You’.
