GARDAI have confirmed that a young woman has died in a car crash near Drumkeen this morning.
Gardai in Ballybofey are investigating the fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the main Letterkenny to Ballybofey Road, the N13, this morning, Friday 19th June, 2015 at approximately 7 a.m.
The collision occurred in the townland of Trentabouy, Convoy. A female driver (late 20s) was fatally injured when the car she was driving collided with a truck. Her body has been removed to Letterkenny General Hospital. The driver of the truck was uninjured.
The road is currently closed to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Examination. Local diversions are in place.
