A YOUNG male pedestrian was hospitalised following a road traffic collision in Letterkenny this week.
Gardaí attended the scene of the collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian on the Ramelton Road on Monday at 6.55pm.
The vehicle was travelling from the Polestar roundabout towards the Ballyraine roundabout when the collision occurred.
All parties involved were at the scene upon the arrival of Gardaí. The young male pedestrian was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment for injuries sustained.
A garda spokesperson has appealed for dash cam footage.
“We appeal to any road users who may have witnessed the collision or who think that they may have captured the collision on their dash cam footage to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on (074) 9167100.”
