A YOUNG boy has been taken to Letterkenny University Hospital after he was struck by a car in Ramelton.
Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of the collision which took place on Chapel Road in the town earlier this evening.

A garda spokesperson said: “The pedestrian, a male juvenile child, has been taken from the scene to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment.”
Meanwhile, the road remains closed and local diversions are in place.
