A YELLOW weather warning has been issued for Donegal.

The wind warning will come into effect at 1pm this afternoon and will remain in place until 9pm tonight.

In a statement issued this morning, Mét Éireann warned of strong and very gusty winds.

Possible impacts of these weather condition include falling branches, localised debris and difficult travelling conditions.
