AN EXTENDED weather warning for snow and ice for Donegal has been issued by Met Eireann.
The status yellow alert has been issued from 5am on Thursday to 8pm that evening.
It is expected that sleet and snow will lead to accumulations, significantly on higher ground.

Possible impacts of this weather will be hazardous travelling conditions, poor visibility and ice on untreated surfaces.
