Writer of Derry Girls may be featuring Ramelton in new sitcom

By Dionne Meehan

DERRY GIRLS writer Lisa McGee is hoping to feature scenes of Donegal in her new sitcom.

Despite the new show being mainly set in Northern Ireland, location scouts have been seen checking out the heritage town of Ramelton this week.

Said to have “really liked” the area in and around Gamble Square, there is a good possibility we will soon be seeing Ramelton on our TV screens.
