A ‘WORLD Day of Remembrance’ for those who lost their lives or who have been seriously injured on our roads is to take place in Letterkenny this weekend.
An Garda Síochána in conjunction with Donegal County Council and Donegal Road Safety Working Group warmly invite members of the public to attend a ‘World Day of Remembrance’ event that will take place at the Mount Errigal Hotel on Sunday, November 16 at 1pm.
‘World Remembrance Day’ provides an opportunity for families, communities and nations around the world to remember all those who have sadly lost their lives or who have been seriously injured on our roads.
On this day we also honour the bereaved, the survivors and the emergency service personnel who respond to these types of tragedies.
Families are welcome to bring a photograph of their loved ones to be displayed during the ceremony, should they wish to do so.
