INVESTIGATIONS are ongoing after a woman was seriously injured in a collision in Inishowen at the weekend.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision in the Glengad area on Sunday, December 1.
The single-vehicle collision occurred on a local road at Culkeeny shortly before midnight.

A garda spokesperson said: “The driver and sole occupant, a woman in her 40s, was transferred to Letterkenny University Hospital, where she remains in a serious condition.”
The road was closed to facilitate a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators but since reopened to traffic.
Investigations are ongoing.
