A RAMELTON woman has tendered a guilty plea to charges of robbery and producing an article capable of inflicting serious injury.
Nadia Blake (26) was charged with the offences at Navenny Street, Ballybofey, on October 16, 2024.
The accused appeared at Tuesday’s sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court where she admitted robbing Stephen Doherty of a 50 inch television set, a Playstation 4 console and controller along with a portable speaker.
The woman, with an address at Booragh, Ramelton, also pleaded guilty to a charge of producing a screwdriver on the date in question.
Defence counsel, Simon Gillespie, B.L. told the court his client had no previous convictions but had “ongoing issues”.
He asked for the provision of a Probation and Welfare report in addition to a psychiatric report. Mr Gillespie requested that legal aid be extended to cover the psychiatric assessment.
Judge Roderick Maguire directed that both reports be furnished and adjourned the case to the October sessions of the Circuit Court.
