A WOMAN remains in hospital after suffering serious injuries following a single vehicle collision close to the Donegal border.
On Tuesday morning, PSNI officers attended the scene on the Letterkenny Road in Derry, close to Nixon’s Corner, following a report just before 8.45am that a silver Peugeot 207 had been involved in a collision with a tree.
One woman was taken to hospital, where she remains for treatment to serious injuries.
The road was closed until Tuesday afternoon and diversions were in place.
A spokesperson for the PSNI issued an appeal.
They said, “Anyone who was travelling in the area around the time of the collision and may have information, including dash-cam footage, is asked to contact police on 101, and quote reference number 345 of 11/07/23.”
