THE current Miss Donegal, Natasha McFadden, was celebrating at the weekend following her appearance on the Winning Streak TV gameshow where she won €23,000.
She appeared on the RTE lottery show last Saturday night where she won €23,000 including a car. Her winning ticket was bought in Centra in her hometown of Newtowncunningham.
Aged 22, Natasha lives with her mother, Rosaline Doherty and her younger brother Seán, 19. She also has an older brother, Stephen Dean, who is 25 and a soldier based in the Curragh.
Natasha is the reigning Miss Donegal and recently took part in the Miss Ireland Competition, where she won the prize of Miss Photogenic.
She graduated with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Ulster earlier this year and currently works as a manager at a café called The Tearooms. She plans to travel in the future before embarking on a career specialising in Event Management. Last year she worked in New York as a Junior Events Manager at a luxury hotel called the Roundhouse in the Beacon area of Manhattan.
Natasha enjoys socialising in her spare time and takes part in a bootcamp three times a week to keep fit. She would love to put a deposit on a house for herself, her mother and younger brother with her winnings and pay off some college fees.
She was presented with her winning cheque by Marty Whelan and Sinead Kennedy, Winning Streak game show hosts as well as Niall Andrews, Head of Sales at the National Lottery.
