Wind warning in place until this evening

A WIND warning will remain in place until this evening as gusts of up to 100km/hr are expected throughout the day.

Met Eireann issued a yellow warning for Donegal as well as Galway and Mayo which will remain in place until 8pm.

A Met Eireann Spokesperson said: “South to southwest winds will reach mean speeds today of 50-65km/h with gusts of 90-100km/h.”
