A special St Brigid’s Concert featuring Wild Atlantic Women will take place on Friday, January 30 at the Balor Arts Centre — with a €1,000 charity draw on the night.
Founded by Donegal singer-songwriter Brí Carr, Wild Atlantic Women is a collective of female musicians and creatives from across the north-west of Ireland.
The group fosters an ethos of supporting one another as the saying goes ” we fix each other’s crowns ”
The concert will feature performances from the following Wild Atlantic Womenmembers: Brí Carr, Maria McCormack, Bernie Doherty, Anne Biddie, Geraldine Legon, Anne Conoghan, Kate Ford, Rachel Akkoç, Jean Curran, Mary Dunne, Helena McNally, Sinéad Black, Siobhán McGroarty, Keli McGrory, Adele Timoney, Shazz White, Carol Wilson, Maria McCool, Alannagh McGlynn, Claire Ward and Sarah Laughlin.
