THE official launch of an upcoming one-man Wild Atlantic Way charity cycle took place at Nancy’s bar in Ardara recently.

Tony will commence his cycle of the Wild Atlantic Way in Kinsale, Co Cork on August 24th passing through Cork, Kerry, Clare, Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Donegal before finishing in Co Derry on September 4.

Tony’s partner, Jenny McHugh who runs Nancy’s bar in Ardara, will follow Tony on the cycle in a support car.

The cycle serves to highlight the significance of the Irish pub to the Wild Atlantic Way as not only will pubs be central to serving tourists along the route, but it will also cater for all of Tony’s accommodation and food along the way.
