Wetsuits stolen during Rossnowlagh burglary

GARDAÍ are investigating a burglary at a storage premises in Rossnowlagh car park at the weekend.

A number of wetsuits and ear defenders were taken in the burglary, which occurred between midnight Saturday, August 17 and 9am the following morning.

Entry was gained after a padlock was broken on a storage unit. The wetsuits were recovered in Sligo later that day. They had been abandoned.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area of Rossnowlagh car park, or within the general area of Rossnowlagh beach with a dash cam between during the time in question to make contact with them.

“If anybody observed any suspicious vehicles (in particular,vans) in the Rossnowlagh area on that date, please make Gardaí aware. Any relevant information may be passed to Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530,” a garda spokesperson said.
