THIS morning will be wet and windy with rain turning heavy in places.

Winds will increase strong and gusty with gales at times.

The rain will give way to scattered showers through the evening, as winds ease moderate to fresh.

Some of the showers will be heavy.

Highest afternoon temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.

Tonight will bring a good deal of cloud overall with scattered showers and with more persistent rain in parts.

There’ll be some clear spells too.

Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees with mostly light winds.
