Met Éireann has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms in Donegal. The warning came into force at midday and will remain in place until 9pm tonight (Tuesday).
After yesterday’s scorcher thunder and heavy localised downpours are expected throughout the day. The warning is also in place for counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cavan, Cork, Tipperary, Waterford and Leitrim.
