MET Eireann has issued a weather warning for heavy rainfall this evening and overnight. The status yellow warning will be in place in Donegal and the rest of the country.
The warning will come into effect at 7pm this evening and last until 7am tomorrow morning.
A Met Eireann spokesperson said: “A spell of heavy rain this evening and tonight will lead to rainfall accumulations of 25 to 40mm. Spot flooding possible.”
