Weather warning for Donegal

 

Strong gales are expected this evening for parts of West Donegal as Met Eireann issue a yellow weather warning. 

Southerly winds are expected to reach 55-65 km/hr with gusts up to 90 to 100km/hr to affect Atlantic coastal fringes of the West and North West.

The warning has been put in place until tomorrow evening and residents are reminded to be aware and take care. 

Weather for the rest of the weekend is expected to be wet, with some sunshine on Friday afternoon. Top temperatures around 14 degrees celcius.
