Today will start out wet in many areas.

It will though be an improving picture as the last of the overnight rain pushes off into the Irish sea and sunny skies develop as of late morning.

Later in the evening, the odd spot of drizzle will show up along Atlantic coasts.

Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in mostly light to moderate breezes.

Tonight will be dry with lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees.
