BANDS of showery rain will continue to clear northwards this morning as sunny spells and scattered showers follow.

Some heavy and thundery downpours are possible.

Today will be a cooler, fresher day than of late with highs of 16 to 21 degrees.

Tonight, showers will become isolated for a time this evening and early tonight.

Cloud will build from the south overnight and outbreaks of rain with some heavy and possibly thundery falls, will push northwards over the province.

Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees with light to moderate or variable winds.
