Weather: Mainly dry day with sunny spells 

TODAY will be mainly dry and while it’ll be mostly cloudy, bright or sunny spells are likely.

Later in the day scattered outbreaks of light rain and drizzle will spread from the northwest.

Temperatures will be cool with highs of 4 to 7 degrees in light variable winds.

Tonight, the rain and drizzle, along with any mist or fog will clear south-eastwards.

Clear spells will follow along with some scattered showers.

Lowest temperatures of -1 to -3 degrees with a touch of frost.
