TODAY will be cool and dry with plenty of sunshine and just the odd isolated light shower.

Cloud will build into parts of the northwest later, but holding mostly dry for daylight hours.

Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.

Tonight will be dry in most places with clear spells, but becoming increasingly cloudy, with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, followed later by clear spells and scattered showers.

Lowest temperatures ranging from around -1 to 2 degrees, with some frost early in the night.

Winds will be mostly light variable, becoming light to moderate and increasing fresh at time in some coastal parts.
