Glenswilly captain Jake Kelly said his team went to war in a bid to see off Gaoth Dobhair in the Under 21 Championship on Sunday.
Gaoth Dobhair were bidding to win three titles in-a-row this season but their dreams were dashed by Glenswilly.
It wasn’t looking great for Kelly and his teammates at half-time as they were only one point ahead after playing with the breeze.
However, they battled brilliantly in the second half to reach the final.
“It’s unreal. We really had to dog it out there,” Kelly told the Donegal News after the match.
“It looked at a stage in the second half that we were going to lose it but we dug deep.
