
The latest figures from the Audit Bureau of Circulation show the average weekly circulation of the Donegal News (Friday edition) at 11,186 compared to the Donegal Democrat (Thursday edition) at 9,191.
THE Donegal News is now outselling its nearest rivals by almost 2,000, emphasising its position as the top selling newspaper in the county.
The latest figures from the Audit Bureau of Circulation show the average weekly circulation of the Donegal News (Friday edition) at 11,186 compared to the Donegal Democrat (Thursday edition) at 9,191. The figures were taken from July to December, 2011.
The Donegal News (Monday) achieved an average weekly circulation of 4, 044 bringing the total circulation to a weekly 15,230.
The Friday edition is now by far the strongest selling paper in the county. Figures for titles such as the Donegal Post, Tirconaill Tribune and Letterkenny Post are not independently audited and are not made public by their owners.
However, none comes close to the readership of the Donegal News.
