THERE were so many key moments in Saturday’s Under 21 ‘A’ Championship Final but one that most certainly shouldn’t be overlooked is Cian McEntee’s brilliant dispossession of Bobby McGettigan in the 56th minute.
Termon sliced through a Gaoth Dobhair defence that had been strong up until that stage, and McGettigan, who has a proven record of scoring goals, looked set to raise another green flag.
However, wing-back McEntee didn’t give up and he got back in time to make an outstanding tackle.
If Termon had gone three points up then, they would have been heavily fancied to close out the game and bring the silverware back to the Lagoon.
