A MAJOR burst on a water mains along Letterkenny’s Lower Main Street left residents without water over the weekend.
Staff from Donegal County Council and Uisce Éireann were deployed on Saturday to address the outage.
Crews from Uisce Éireann returned again yesterday morning to carry out further repairs on the affected pipeline.

The disruption impacted nearby households and businesses.
This marks at least the third time since Christmas that customers in the area have been left without water due to burst mains.
