Water outage in Lettermacaward

UISCE Éireann crews are responding to an issue at the Lettermacaward Water Treatment Plant this morning, which will result in supply outages for customers in Lettermacaward and the surrounding areas.

As a result of mechanical issues at the plant, reservoir levels have fallen and this is impacting supply to homes and businesses in the area.
Uisce Éireann is arranging for Alternative Water Supplies to be made available locally for affected customers and further information on the location of these will be communicated shortly.

Damien O’Sullivan of Uisce Éireann said work is ongoing to resolve the issue and restore normal supply as quickly as possible.
