THE ADVENTURE is over – and for some of the Republic of Ireland’s greatest servants their adventures in green have ceased for good, it seems.
As the Green Army’s uniquely united voice serenaded Poland for one final time on Monday night in Poznan, there were what seemed some final goodbyes.
Euro 2012 hadn’t even ceased for Ireland when the questions came about the future of certain players.
Captain Robbie Keane has hinted that he will stay on, but there remain question marks over Shay Given, Damian Duff, Richard Dunne and, perhaps, even John O’Shea.
