A YELLOW WEATHER warning has been issued for heavy rain in Donegal on Saturday. 

The warning, issued by Met Eireann, advises that frequent heavy showers on Saturday may lead to localised flooding.

The warning comes into effect on Saturday morning at 9am and remains in place until midnight.

The affected areas include Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo.
