Walsh preparing for Kilcar juggernaut

GLENFIN goalkeeper Andrew Walsh has been really impressive in the Championship so far and he is expecting to be tested even more when his side face Kilcar at Pairc Taobhoige on Sunday at 3pm.

Walsh impressed against MacCumhaill’s last week but he could be a busy man when Kilcar come to Pairc Taobhoige.

“My kicking was good against MacCumhaill’s last week alright but it’s probably more important to make sure the basics are right.

“MacCumhaill’s sent in a few high balls towards the edge of the square and I think we won every one of them.

“I wasn’t happy with the goal they got, but we have been working hard on that at training this week.

“Everything needs to be right as we get ready for the juggernaut that is Kilcar.”
