A WALK will take place in Central Park in New York on Sunday in memory of the victims of the tragic explosion in Creeslough which occurred this day last week.

The walk is being organised by Creeslough native Aoife Cannon who is now living in New York.

Anyone who would like to take part is asked to meet at the statue at the Doris C Freedman Plaza at 1pm on Sunday afternoon.

Aoife has also set up a Go Fund Me Page to raise funds for the families of the victims.

“All funds raised will go to the families of the victims. Thoughts and prayers are with the families, and with all of of my community during this time,” she said.

So far over $5,000 has been raised online from the fundraiser.
