Naomh Conaill wing-back Eoin Waide feels his side have a good mix and believes there is still plenty left in the legs of their seasoned campaigners.
Many pundits felt that the Davy Brennan Memorial Park men were an ageing side, who had run their course, and few tipped them to go all the way to Donegal Championship glory.
However, they gradually improved throughout the campaign and when the big county final day arrived, they were ready and pulled off an upset when beating a fancied St Eunan’s side.
That has extended their season by four weeks but that’s far from a slog for Waide and his teammates and they are hoping to go on a run in Ulster and push their campaign out even further.
