Vote for our Henry Girls

The Henry Girls - Karen, Lorna and Joleen McLaughlin.

BY SEÁN P. FEENY
DONEGAL’S favourite sister trio have made it to the final 40 of a major nation-wide competition which could provide a huge boost for them.

The Henry Girls have been short-listed in the Lift Off @ The Music Show presented by HOT PRESS in association with Shamrock Solutions. There was a phenomenal entry for Lift Off which had the HOT PRESS judges working away through many long nights listening and sifting and sharing.

It was tough for them bringing the numbers down with only one in approximately twenty entries qualifying for the shortlist but that was the task – and the Henry Girls made the cut.

The girls are now in with a chance of scooping the big Lift Off prize and promises to be a wonderfully exciting year for the winning act beginning with their appearance on the Live Stage at HOT PRESS The Music Show in the RDS Arena next weekend, February 25 to 26.

This is why your vote is so important. There is talent in abundance in the competition, but of course we want you to vote for our very own Henry Girls.

The winners of the prize will also get to perform a festival date (to be announced), musical instruments and equipment to the value of €5,000 and live production support from Litton Lane Studios to the amount of €10,000.

Added to that Shamrock Solutions will be for the recording and marketing of an album, which will be distributed by Universal Music.

This is the kind of break every artist dreams of, so log onto Lift Off @ The Music Show now and vote for our Henry Girls.
