VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help out at the two busy Saint Vincent De Paul Society shops in Letterkenny.
The shops at Lower Main Street and Station Roundabout in Letterkenny are extremely busy and are now seeking volunteers who can offer a few hours a week to help out.
The volunteers are required for general shop maintenance, serving customers, sorting donations,  cleaning and tidying.
Cormac McCormack Letterkenny Area President said both shops are doing extremely well but the current team of volunteers are struggling due to demand and amount of donations coming in.
“We are looking for anyone who can spare a couple of hours a week to help out in the shops.
“The shops are extremely busy and people have been so generous with their donations but all those donations need sorted before they are sold which takes time.
“We would love to hear from anyone who would like to help out in either of the premises.
Call into the shops and have a look around to see if volunteering is something you would be interested in,” said Mr McCormack.
Mr McCormack said he is very proud of the charity’s shops as every penny spent instore is used to help local people in need.
“The shops are so important to us because any revenue that is made is spent locally within Letterkenny or the surrounding areas.
“The money goes directly to helping local people who may be struggling and that is something we are all very proud off,” said Mr McCormack.
