A public information event will be held tomorrow about plans to improve road safety in Donegal Town.
The Safe Routes to School Programme was developed in partnership with the National Transport Authority and Green-Schools in 2020 as a response to the need to support schools to increase pupils walking and cycling to school.
Donegal County Council has proposed improving traffic flow and active travel safe route linkages to Scoil Aodh Rua agus Nuala in Donegal Town.
The council wants to hear people’s views on the proposal.
The public information event will take place tomorrow from 2pm to 7pm at Donegal Public Services Centre.
Plans for the scheme will be available to view at the event.
