AS the Ulster Senior League looks to be heading to what has appeared like an impending downfall, officials are investigating one last optimistic bid to revive it from the dead.
A meeting to discuss a proposed merger of the Ulster Senior League teams and the equally struggling Northern Ireland Intermediate League was due to take place last evening (Wednesday) at Trojans FC, following some initial discussions involving clubs and representatives of both the FAI and IFA.
