UPDATE: One arrested following Inishowen collision

A MAN (20s) has been arrested following last night’s single-vehicle road traffic collision in Inishowen.

The incident occurred at 9.55pm, Thursday, August 15, at Burnfoot.

A garda spokesperson said: “Two men and one woman, all aged in their 20s, were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be non life-threatening.

“A man (20s) has been arrested in relation to the incident and is currently detained in a Garda Station in Co. Donegal.

“The road remains closed.

“Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

“Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time of the incident, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Buncrana Garda Station on (074) 9320540, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”

Meanwhile, investigations are ongoing.
