THERE was delight for Gaoth Dobhair Under 14s on Sunday evening as they defeated Buncrana in impressive style to win the County Division 1 League title at O’Donnell Park.
The decider was an outstanding game from last year, and teams were left stewing waiting to play it.
The big day finally came on Sunday and Gaoth Dobhair won by 2-15 to 2-8.
Their manager Hugo Diver was thrilled with the victory and he was proud of the efforts of his team both in the final, and during the long wait to play it.
“It was great to win it because it was a tough year for the team,” said Diver.
