Dr Enya Redican has been honoured with Ulster University’s esteemed Outstanding Thesis Award.
Dr Redican is from Letterkenny and is a past pupil of Gaelscoil Adhamhnáin and Coláiste Ailigh.
She is currently a Research Associate at Ulster University, Coleraine Campus.
She received her award for her thesis, ‘Trauma, PTSD, and Complex PTSD: An Analysis of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health in Northern Ireland Survey’.
Dr Redican has authored numerous research papers in international journals, focusing on trauma and stress-related disorders, bereavement, and other mental health areas.
Additionally, she has been an active collaborator on many of the impactful studies highlighting the mental health impacts of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
