Ulster Junior glory for Naomh Pádraig, Uisce Chaoin

Craigbane 1-12 Naomh Pádraig, Uisce Chaoin 3-7

Naomh Pádraig, Uisce Chaoin clinched the Ulster Junior Championship title with a deserved victory over Craigbane at Celtic Park today.

Naomh Pádraig started well and Drew McKinney scored a goal in the 14th minute.

Craigbane did score the last three points of the first half and were 1-3 to 0-5 down at the break.

Donegal star Caolan McColgan then bagged a goal 38 seconds after the resumption.

Craigbane didn’t panic and they cut their deficit to two but then Kevin Lynch grabbed a third goal for Naomh Pádraig.

The Derry champions got back to within three before Lynch converted a free in the 60th minute.

Jude Óg Moore smashed in a goal for Craigbane in the 63rd minute but the full-time whistle blew from the next kick-out and Naomh Pádraig held on for victory.
