CORMAC Callaghan has become the seventh St Eunan’s College student to win an All Star Colleges award.
The young Glensiwlly clubman has enjoyed a great campaign in the Ulster MacRory Cup this year. Cormac along with several of his team mates and team manager Gary Daid were in Malone House, Belfast on Monday for the announcement. It is a great honour for the young man and he has been given the No. 4 jersey (left corner back). Cormac has also played an attacking role setting up and taking vital scores as in the last match against Mc Cartan’s Monaghan.
Cormac joins Sean Mc Ewen, Hugh Kerr, Mark McGowan, Michael Murphy, Ciaran Cannon and Sean Patton from the College who have been recognised at this level. He has been a pivotal part of the Glenswilly team this year in their championship run and the Glen now has another All star.
St Eunan’s College are still in the MacRory and in the new set up this year they will play St Pat’s Armagh in a play-off and the winner will play St Pat’s Cavan in the quarter Final.
This match will take place on the 29th January in Omagh under floodlights so another big day for the Eunan’s boys (Details of the match at a later date).
