Ukrainians ordered to leave accommodation

WITH just a couple of weeks to go until Christmas, more than 80 Ukrainians, who have been residing in Gaoth Dobhair for two-and-a-half-years, have been told they must leave their accommodation on or before Wednesday.

The families received the communication from the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY).

The group consists of 71 people, including adults and children who are living at Fairyglen Holiday Village in Gaoth Dobhair, and 12 people who are in Bunbeg House.
